Specifically for the utility market (electricity, gas, water, sewage, telecom, …) we are looking for the person who wants to support this dynamic and extensive market and let it grow. Our (GIS) solutions and potential have grown in such a way that various aspects within the utilities market can be supported (EAM, CRM, Work order, predictive maintenance, investment planning, mobile workforce, integrations with ERP, …).

What will your day look like?

  • You are focused on the development of the market and you are/will be the tought leader for GIS in Belgium and Luxembourg for the utility business with the support of our technically based team.
  • You are the advising partner towards the customers. You understand how the business and processes within the utilities world works and make the translation to high end solutions.
  • You guide and support existing and new customers in the development of projects.
  • You are the contact point and account manager for existing and new clients
  • You are responsible for the dynamics of the Community (info-sessions, webinars, workshops, strategy meetings, …). You build up and manage your network in a dynamic way.
  • You are focused on the follow-up of projects and know how to guide, inspire and advise a client taking into account the needs and requirements.
  • You have the ability to understand the processes within the companies with a ‘comprehensive’ ability and give insights how the GIS technology here can help them to achieve goals and strategy.
  • You share insights and inform and inspire the different departments of the utilities. Both for the classical GIS entities, but also throughout all other business processes and departments (mobile workforce, smart cities, leak detection, state maps, … ).
  • You will work closely with the international group of Utility Responsibles within the esri family (in the other European countries) and with the team in the US.

What is your story?

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the utilities sector (asset management, ERP, …).
  • Experience with the sale and/or implementation of IT solutions is a plus.
  • You are sales oriented and get a kick out of realizing a deal where you help the customer to improve his business and processes.
  • You are solution oriented.
  • Meticulous but with a creative side.
  • Customer and result-oriented.
  • Communicative and people-oriented.
  • Analytically strong and structured in approach.
  • Can-do and hands-on attitude.
  • Team player.
  • You enjoy working in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment with a lot of variety.
  • You have a perfect command of Dutch, French and English (both written and oral).
