GIS Business Analyst

As GIS Business Analyst at Esri BeLux, you leverage your expertise in business consultancy to bring a unique perspective to customers, projects and enhance their success. As a member of our team, you will take on meaningful responsibilities that foster you to grow and excel.

• Based on your experience, you advise clients on how to improve their processes and business.
• You conduct in depth functional analysis, actively engaging with clients to understand their specific requirements and needs.
• You translate the client needs into precise functional specifications (use cases, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, etc.) and translate them into test scenarios (step, data, etc.).
• You ensure that the specifications are passed on to our developers and are adequately understood.
• You assist business users in the execution of their acceptance tests.
• You work closely with both the project manager, the client and the development team to drive successful project outcomes.
• You support our clients through training, consultancy and coaching.
• You continuously develop your knowledge and insights on the use of our software (through the international network of colleagues within the esri family), the integration of these technologies in the processes and architecture of the customer, the evolutions on the market, etc.

• Master’s degree in Geography, Bio-engineering, IT or similar. At least 3 years experience in IT and/or GIS.
• Proficient in creating GIS-enabled solutions or able to quickly assimilate knowledge about Geo enablement and GIS technology capabilities.
• Able to synthesize information and maintain rigorous standards throughout projects.
• Exceptional communication and teaching skills during analysis, conceptualization, and training phases.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and establish trustful relationships with our clients
• ‘Can do’ and ‘hands on’ attitude.
• You enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-moving international environment with lots of variety.
• Native speaker of Dutch or French and good knowledge of English.
