1Spatial is pleased to announce the acquisition of GEOMAP-IMAGIS and the conclusion of a simultaneous agreement with Esri.
GEOMAP-IMAGIS is a geospatial software solutions provider focussed on the key markets of Transportation, Government, Utilities (including telecommunications) and Facilities Management. As an Esri Gold Partner, GEOMAP-IMAGIS provides solutions which include ready to market business applications which are Esri platform compliant but also interoperable with other software such as CAD and BIM.
Combined with 1Spatial’s existing French and Belgium business the Board of Directors considers the advantages of this acquisition as significant for the whole of the 1Spatial Group, and in particular for 1Spatial France and 1Spatial Belgium, and its customers.
1Spatial have also entered into an agreement with Esri which will enable existing 1Spatial France and 1Spatial Belgium clients, if they wish, to migrate to an Esri platform.
The company believes that this agreement along with the acquisition of GEOMAP-IMAGIS will be of significant benefit to the company’s existing customers by providing them with access to the market leading global GIS platform combined with the vertical business solutions and expertise delivered by 1Spatial and GEOMAP-IMAGIS.
